Colder, WarmerDon’t know if I’ve ever been anywhere colder than him.  Don’t think I ever will  Can it get colder than that false smile of his?  Can it get colder than the hate in his heart?     Don’t know if I’ve ever been anywhere as warm as this.  Don’t think I ever will be again.  Can it get warmer than that smile on her face?  Can it get warmer than the love in her heart?

Tonight all I get from you,  Are one word answers,  Then nothing.   
Can't you see that I care?  That I love you?  That I won't ever hurt you?   
Just let me in.  Tell me what you're feeling and thinking.  Open up to me.  Even if it hurts,  Even if it's hard to do.
